Why coal has a bright future in the world, clean coal technologies
as well as development and innovation in the energy sector
and in the mining industry - the main topics of an international forum European Coal Round Table 2014, which was held on 24-25 of June. In Lublin met Polish and foreign producers and consumers of coal, logistics companies and innovative technology solutions provider.

SGS as a partner of forum introduced the idea about Projects supporting the industry - monitoring of quality and quantity in terms of energy balance. 

Forum under the honorary patronage: Janusz Piechocinski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister
of Economy and Vladimir Karpinski, Minister of Finance. The event was well patronized by Wojciech Wilk - Governor of Lublin; Krzysztof Zuk - Mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Hetman - Marshal
of Lublin.

The main organizers of the event were Lubelski Wegiel "Bogdanka" SA and EURACOAL (European Association for Coal and Lignite AISBL) supported by powermeetings.eu.

EURACOAL since 12 years has focused members from several European countries, Polish
and foreign companies, in particular: coal producers, energy companies, suppliers of machinery and equipment for mining, suppliers of machinery and equipment for energy and other coal products and services.
